Maine women’s basketball coach Richard Barron joined Downtown on Monday afternoon to talk about the upcoming championship game for the Black Bears on Friday afternoon versus the Albany Great Danes. Barron spoke on how they were able to overcome a late deficit in their game versus Stony Brook and the tremendous play of Sheraton Jones on Sunday. He talked about the history of the program and making it back to the championship game for the first time in the program’s history since 2004. Barron also previewed what the Great Danes bring to the table for Friday afternoon and the Black Bears’ goal to make it to the NCAA tournament.
