Bob Ryan on Curry’s greatness and the 1986 Celtics

Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe joined Downtown on Tuesday afternoon to talk about the impact of Steph Curry this season and revisited the greatness that was the 1986 Boston Celtics. Ryan compared Curry’s play to Pete Maravich and talked about how impactful he has been. He also talked about the great passing abilities of Bill Walton and Larry Bird during that ’86 season and said it was their efforts to work on that skill that made them so good. Ryan also gave some teams he’s looking forward to watching in the NCAA Tournament and said that he thinks the Providence College could win a couple of games in the tournament this season.
