UFC light heavyweight fighter Gian Vallante came on Downtown in advance of his bout with Ilir Latifi for UFC 196 in Las Vegas. Vallante, a former Hofstra Football linebacker, remembered his time with the Pride in the CAA conference and said that the thing that reminds him of the Black Bears the most was playing in the cold. He also talked about the state of his division and what exactly he will try to do versus Latifi to be successful at UFC 196.
