Dan Hannigan, the voice of men’s ice hockey at the University of Maine, joined Downtown in advance of the Hockey East Playoffs and the Black Bears’ match-up with Northeastern. Hannigan said that it should benefit the Black Bears to have played the Huskies last week as they try to take two games down in Boston. He also said that Maine has to limit the penalties and play their style of hockey to move on to the quarterfinals.
