Ian Astbury, the lead singer of the band The Cult, joined Downtown to talk about the debut of their 10th studio album “Hidden City” which will be on sale tomorrow. Astbury spoke on his lyrical process and creating thought provoking lyrics for this album and what it has been like to continue to play in the band with long time guitarist Billy Duffy. He also talked about how he feels music has changed over the years and said the future is wide open for the band.
“Hidden City” will be available online and in records store on Friday, February 5th and The Cult will also be going on tour to support the album in the coming weeks.
