Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald joined Downtown on Monday afternoon to tell us which Boston Bruins team is for real. Conroy felt that the Bruins team is somewhere in between the dreadful version of the Bs to start the season, but not as good as the play they’ve had in the west coast swing. He spoke on the defensive side of things for the Bs and said a realistic expectation for Boston this season would be a fringe playoff team in the Eastern Conference.
