Downtown will devote our entire two hours on Thursday, July 16 to the subject of youth sports with a unique on-air forum. Host Rich Kimball will be joined in studio by Robert Cobb, former Dean of the University of Maine’s College of Education and Tim Baude of the Bangor Parks and Recreation Department, as well as Van Buren native Parise Rossignol, now a member of the University of Maine women’s basketball team. The program will also include call-ins from former Education Commissioner Duke Albanese, nationally-known lecturer and author Bob Bigelow, and Tom Farrey of ESPN and the Aspen Institute’s Sports and Society Program.
